If you have already had the measles or have been vaccinated, you are not at risk for contracting the measles. Signs and SymptomsSypmptoms of measles do not show themselves until 8-12 days after being exposed to the virus. -rash, appearing 3-5 days after being sick, starting at the head. It may start as discolored or solid, red, raised areas that join together. Complicationsbronchitis TreatmentAs the measles is a virus, there is no specific treatment. Most doctors will prescribe acetiminophen, rest, and humid air. Vitamin A is generally given to children as it is an immunity boosting vitamin. |
