Bio-Clean of New Jersey’s mold remediation process is designed to locate and eliminate any and all mold inside of your home. If moist and humid conditions have left your house a haven for destructive, disgusting, or dangerous mold growth, Bio-Clean will find it, diagnose it, and remove it.
STEP ONE: SURFACE SAMPLING:
First, our technicians take surface samples. Moisture meters and hygrometers are used to test your home’s structure for moist conditions in which mold thrives. If the structure of your home is moist, mold or mold spores are usually present. Pinpointing the areas of your home that are harboring excess moisture is critical in eliminating your mold problem.
If there is visible mold growing in your property, our technicians will swab the area and send it to our laboratory technicians for identification.
STEP TWO: AIR SAMPLING
Our mold testing continues with air sampling. While surface sampling finds areas of moisture, air sampling identifies the species and amount of the mold spores in your property. The test begins inside the home, where we draw air in through a plastic cassette, capturing mold spores and other potentially harmful airborne particulates. This test is repeated again outside of the building, as a control sample used to compare mold conditions to those inside of your home.
Laboratory technicians examine the contents of the cassette and find out what kind of mold is inside your house, and how much. If your home has a higher spore count inside than out, you’ve got a mold problem.
